Your worker keeps changing.Companies send whoever's free that day. Independent workers leave or go on holidays.

01

Support is personal and who you let into your home is too.You choose who joins your small team, so cover always comes from someone familiar.

02

Support quality slips โ€” and it's on you to fix it.Managing performance, chasing updates, finding someone new โ€” all on your plate.

02

Daily oversight from Antaylia, your team leader. She reads every shift note and you can call her directly for any reason.

03

The worker cancels at 7am.And now your whole morning is on you to piece back together.

03

You call Antaylia, and she gets to work.Checking your backup's availability, finding options, so you're not solving it alone.

04

You've become the HR department.Rostering, onboarding, feedback, performance management โ€” on top of everything else.

04

You're at the centre of the team. You shape your support, Matt builds the systems, Grace finds quality workers, Antaylia supports the frontline โ€” all of it working around you.

05

The invoice doesn't match the shifts. So you're left fighting to sort it out.

05

A full record of every shift and change. We use Astalty, an NDIS-compliant platform, so if something looks off, we can review it together.

06

You're scared to speak up.What happens to my support if I upset my worker?

06

A safe path to speak up.You talk to Antaylia. She speaks with your support team. You get the change you wanted.

The People of Hearts In Action

The People on Your Team

Everyone on this team is here because they care about people. The participants we support are at the centre of it โ€” that's how we work.

Matt โ€” Director, Hearts In Action
Matt
Director

Matt enrolled in a Bachelor of Social Work, joined a support company, and saw the issues first-hand โ€” participants and families carrying stress that should've been the provider's.

Grace โ€” Director, Hearts In Action
Grace
Director

Grace managed a childcare centre before Hearts In Action. She saw what consistency does for a person โ€” and that's what she looks for in every worker she hires.

Antaylia โ€” Team Leader, Hearts In Action
Antaylia
Team Leader

Antaylia grew up in a SIL home. She knows what good support feels like โ€” and what bad support costs. That's why she's the one participants call.

We are proud of every person on this team.

NDIS screened. Blue Card verified. First Aid trained. Plus additional training through an NGO centre. All of that is the minimum. The person underneath is what actually matters โ€” and what we look for.

Before You Book

Questions Before You Get Started

Support workers moving on isn't frequent (we have a high retention rate), but when it does happen, you're not starting over. Your support worker is one part of your team, not the whole thing.

If that happens, you'll have built real relationships with Matt, Grace, and Antaylia โ€” they know how your support works and what matters to you. So when a new worker starts, we can brief them properly. You won't have to re-explain everything from scratch, and you'll be involved in choosing who comes next.

Grace interviews every support worker personally before they meet any family. They complete NDIS screening, a full police background check through Blue Card verification, and our internal training program before their first shift.

Once they start, your team leader reviews every shift note the same day it's written. They stay in direct contact with you, your worker, and depending on preference - also your family. So there's a second set of eyes on your support every single day, not a quarterly audit or a spot check.

We suggest support workers based on who we think you'll like, but the choice is always yours. You meet them before anything begins, and if you decide they're not right, we'll introduce someone else.

And if you've accepted a support worker and later feel it's not right for any reason, just let your team leader know, and we'll organise a meet and greet with a new worker for your consideration.

Communication, consistency, and accountability are usually the first things to break at other providers. So they're the things we built our whole system around.

You get one team leader who knows you and your family, and who you can contact directly. Your worker stays the same. Your team leader reviews every shift note the same day, and uses Astalty โ€” an NDIS-compliant platform โ€” to keep records transparent and accurate.

If something isn't working, you pick up the phone and speak to your team leader. If it needs escalating, you or your team leader can go directly to Matt or Grace. There's no runaround.

Most participants and families who come to us have been with another provider before. We don't take that trust for granted.

Your team leader stays in direct contact with both you and your support worker. So if something needs attention, it gets picked up early, so your team stays strong.

If something needs adjusting now, all you have to do is phone your team leader directly. In addition to this, we contact all participants every 60 days, to go through how everything's tracking.
