Our foundation
Why we built Hearts In Action
Antaylia shares how we listened to the NDIS community on the issues Brisbane participants face.
Where it usually falls apart
Six things families tell us broke down before — and how we've addressed each one.
If any of these sound familiar, you're not alone.
The common failures.
Our answer to each one.

It's a revolving door of workers.Nobody knows the routine, so every shift starts from the beginning.
You get your own small, consistent team. With two or three workers who know the person, the preferences, and the household.
Support starts strong. But standards slip over time.
Antaylia provides oversight. One person who is there to help you with anything. The same person making sure standards don't slip.
Your worker cancels. This is the third time over the last few weeks.
Antaylia keeps track of attendance.Support workers call Antaylia if they can't make the shift for any reason. Allowing us to carefully monitor worker reliability.
You're managing staff that aren't yours. So rosters, training, and performance conversations all land on your plate.
Your team leader handles the team.Reducing stress and letting you focus on what's important to you.
Invoices that don't make sense. You're left with charges you know are wrong. And you're the one who has to argue with your provider.
We use scheduling software built for NDIS providers.Every shift is logged in Astalty, a NDIS-compliant management system that handles invoicing. It logs each clock-in and clock-out, reducing human error.
You're concerned about raising issues. You've spoken up before. The worker took offence. It made things more stressful.
We're a professional team.We have a team that shares our values. We have a conversation, and the change happens.

The People of Hearts In Action
The People Behind Your Brisbane Support
Matt, Grace, and Antaylia built the structure. They're still the ones who answer for how it works.
Matt designed the systems that keep Hearts In Action accountable. By building daily shift reviews, structured rostering, and direct communication into how everything is set up. So Brisbane families have support that works without them having to manage it.
Grace decides who joins the team. By interviewing every disability support worker directly and training them before they meet any family. So if they wouldn't clear the benchmark she sets for her own family, they don't start.
Antaylia handles the day-to-day oversight of your support. By reviewing shift notes the same day and following up on anything that needs action. So you're always in the loop without having to chase.
Your Brisbane support workers — vetted, trained, and chosen by you.
Nobody starts without your approval, and you meet each worker before their first shift. With all holding current NDIS screening, Blue Card verification, and training through our internal program.
Every worker here has been tested, trained, and trusted by the Brisbane families they work with.
Before You Book
What Brisbane Families Ask Before They Start
If a support worker moves on, you're not left starting again. Your support is built around a team, and that team already knows how things work for you.
That knowledge stays with us. We find someone who fits properly, and you help decide who that is. We're there with you every step of the way.
Every support worker is personally interviewed by Grace before meeting any family. They complete NDIS screening, a full police check through Blue Card, and internal training before their first shift.
Once they begin, your team leader reviews every shift note the same day. They stay in contact with you, your worker, and your family, so your support is checked daily, not occasionally.
We suggest support workers with your preferences in mind, but you always decide. You meet them before anything begins, and if it's not the right fit, we'll find another option.
If you've already started and want a change, that's okay too. Just tell your team leader, and we'll arrange a new meet and greet.
Other providers often fall short on communication, consistency, and follow-through. So we've made those the foundation of how we operate.
You have a single team leader who knows you well and is easy to contact. Your worker stays consistent, and each shift is reviewed that day.
If something isn't working, you speak to your team leader and it's handled. Many families come to us after a bad experience, and we take that seriously.
Your team leader stays across things between shifts by reviewing notes the same day and keeping in regular contact with you and your worker. So nothing drifts.
If something needs attention, you can pick up the phone and deal with it straight away. Every 60 days, you'll also review how things are going together.
